Banana with rice milk or mango with Greek yogurt: five healthy homemade ice cream recipes
In the last summer days, we delight ourselves with homemade ice cream with proven ingredients and the maximum healthy lifestyle composition. We replaced sugar with honey, cow’s milk with rice and coconut, and cream with Greek yogurt. With these options, the treat will be even tastier and certainly healthier!
Banana ice cream with rice milk
The easiest ice cream option with just three ingredients. Fast and tasty.
Ingredients:
- 3 bananas;
- 4 tbsp rice milk (you can take nut milk, almond – to your taste);
- a pinch of vanilla.
Preparation
Whisk the frozen bananas, milk and vanilla in a blender.
Put the mass in a mold, cover with plastic wrap and put in the freezer for 1-2 hours.
Coconut milk avocado ice cream
Avocado fans will love this recipe. The combination of the fruit with coconut milk and lemon juice is ideal.
Ingredients:
- 1-2 avocados;
- 400 g of coconut milk;
- 1 tsp lemon juice;
- 1-2 tbsp. l. agave syrup.
Preparation
First you need to make cream from coconut milk. To do this, place the milk in a container and leave it in the freezer overnight. In the morning, transfer the thickened cream to a bowl and beat with a mixer until creamy.
Add the avocado pulp, lemon juice and agave syrup to the resulting cream. Whisk in a blender.
Put the mass in a mold, cover with plastic wrap and put in the freezer for 3-4 hours.
Greek yogurt mango ice cream
Mango goes best, in our opinion, with Greek yogurt and honey. The ice cream will be very soft and tender.
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe mangoes;
- 1-2 tbsp honey;
- 100-120 gr. Greek yogurt.
Preparation
Whisk the mango, yogurt and honey in a blender.
Put the mass in a mold, cover with plastic wrap and put in the freezer for 1-2 hours.
Popsicles with natural yoghurt
Another equally tasty and healthy ice cream recipe is with fruits. We have selected banana, kiwi and mango, but you can mix the ingredients to your liking.
Ingredients:
- 1 banana;
- 1 kiwi;
- 1 mango;
- 120 g natural yogurt;
- 1-2 tbsp. l. honey.
Whisk the fruit, yogurt and honey in a blender.
Put the mass in a mold, cover with plastic wrap and put in the freezer for 3-4 hours.
Berry sorbet
This ice cream option is good because it doesn’t contain dairy products. Choose berries to your taste, and for piquancy, be sure to add banana and grapefruit.
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. any frozen berries;
- 0.5 banana;
- 0.5 grapefruit;
- 1 tsp honey
Whisk the berries, banana, grapefruit juice and honey in a blender.
Put the mass in a mold, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
