Diets, diets, diets … How many of them are now printed in women’s magazines, posted on the Internet, passed by word of mouth! And each is necessarily considered “the only one who can help once and for all”, promising “100% weight loss” (is it like losing weight to zero?) Or guaranteeing that “the hated kilograms will never return to you.” But a strange thing: the number of diets is increasing, but the number of obese people is not decreasing … Strange? No, everything is quite natural. After all, what is a diet? These are always restrictions, sometimes strict, sometimes even cruel. And our body is shy and thrifty. You give him a diet with prohibitions, and he gives you supplies just in case (you never know what idea will come to your mind next time!). Any diet, especially a tough one, does not reduce fat reserves, weight loss occurs due to draining excess fluid. And as soon as the executions stop, the weight returns.
There is only one way out of this vicious circle: you need to change your diet. To give up fried foods, not to buy semi-finished products and canned food, not to eat fast food in any of its manifestations and, if possible, to reduce salt intake as much as possible – these steps should be the very first on the way to harmony and health. But it is not enough to give up harmfulness, you need to know which products will help you maintain your position and even lose weight. Diet products have a low calorie content, improve metabolism, lower cholesterol levels – in general, they have all the qualities that we all need so much in the fight for a beautiful figure.
Just please, let’s go without fanaticism! You shouldn’t experiment and eat, for example, pineapples only because they contain bromelain, which burns fat. Meals should always be varied and balanced. In fact, there are plenty of products to help you lose weight, and you can easily create an excellent diet.
Vegetables, diet products, low in calories, contain a lot of fiber, vitamins and other useful biologically active substances, quickly satisfy hunger and perfectly regulate the work of the gastrointestinal tract. All vegetables are healthy, without exception, but some of them also have fat-burning properties. These are artichokes, head lettuce, watercress, asparagus, dandelion leaves, runny, spinach. All of them tone up, remove toxins, improve bowel function. Zucchini, cucumbers and pumpkin are excellent dietary foods. Stewed vegetables can be cooked often and can be eaten with pleasure, and this will only benefit. Well, there is nothing to say about cabbage. All of its types contain a minimum of calories and maximum benefits. You can eat cabbage in any form as much as you like. Moreover, the beauty of broccoli is in the first place: it does not irritate the stomach, is much healthier than ordinary cabbage, and, in addition, it contains chromium, which reduces cravings for sweets. Radishes, green bell peppers, peas, beets, carrots, radishes – all these vegetables can and should be eaten constantly. Our body spends a lot of energy on their digestion, which means it loses weight!
Fruit – loaded with vitamins, fruit acids, natural sugars. Citrus fruits – grapefruit, pomelo, oranges, tangerines – contain essential oils and organic acids that promote digestion and purify from toxins. Citrus fruits strengthen the immune system and remove toxins well, as well as lower insulin levels in the blood. This reduces appetite and reduces the urge to constantly chew something. Pears and apples are rich in pectin and quickly quench your appetite. Pears and apples are an ideal snack, after which you don’t feel like eating for a long time, and they have almost zero calories! Another fruit touted as a super fruit for the diet is pineapple. Pineapple contains bromelain, which helps to better digest heavy protein foods. By the way, the most bromelain is found in the heart of pineapple. Pineapple contains many vitamins and minerals, fiber, which makes our intestines. All of the above, of course, only applies to fresh pineapple, the canned slices are just a delicious dessert. Another exotic fruit, papaya, has a similar effect. Papaya contains many enzymes, including papain, which helps break down fats and heavy animal proteins. Low-fat dairy products – contain a lot of easily digestible protein, saturate for a long time. Low-fat cottage cheese, kefir and “live” yogurt are perfect for a light dinner. Whip the cottage cheese with plain yogurt or with mineral water, add fruits (for sweet) or herbs (for unsweetened) – and now you have a curd brush for breakfast. It can be spread over toast or bread. But with cheese (even the most fat-free!) You need to be careful, because any cheese is always salt. Slimming salt is the primary enemy!
Spices and herbs. The action of warming spices is based on the fact that they improve metabolic processes in our body. Cinnamon, ginger, hot peppers (cayenne, peperone, chili), black pepper, mustard, horseradish, chicory – all of them have warming properties, lower blood insulin levels, and accelerate energy production in the body. All hot spices literally “melt” excess calories. Chicory must be mentioned separately. Replace them with coffee, and after a couple of weeks you will notice that the swelling subsides, the pressure decreases, and the nerves are no longer so naughty. Generously season your dishes with spices, and you will gradually, smoothly and imperceptibly lose weight. No wonder in those countries where they love spicy food, there are not many fat people. The herbs that we habitually use as seasoning and decoration are not only improve the taste, but also contribute to the improvement of the general condition and health. Cilantro (coriander) improves digestion, reduces appetite, has a diuretic and tonic effect. Peppermint improves mood, improves sleep, reduces fever and pain. Dill helps digestion, relieves intestinal colic. Tarragon (tarragon) strengthens blood vessels, relieves edema, improves liver and kidney function, and soothes the nerves. Chives strengthens the immune system, normalizes blood sugar levels, and has a mild diuretic effect. Parsley has a mild diuretic effect, relieves spasms and saturates with vitamins and minerals. Chervil (undeservedly forgotten and slowly returning to our gardens) is rich in ascorbic acid, carotene and trace elements. There should be not just a lot of greens on your table, but a lot! It is better not to heat greens, so as not to destroy vitamins.
Bran is pure fiber. Calories – zero. The bran is hardly digested, it swells in the intestines and literally makes it work. If you add bran to porridge, baked goods, cottage cheese or evening kefir, then not only enrich the dish with fiber, but also start the mechanism of cleansing from toxins. Just remember that the bran must be steamed, otherwise the effect will be exactly the opposite (you can simply earn a banal constipation). If you have stomach diseases, then it is better to refuse bran, as they irritate the mucous membrane. Instead of bran, you can use crushed sprouted grain. Grains with sprouts may not be chopped, but simply added to a salad or chewed with honey and nuts.
Green tea and herbal infusions are properly prepared, they saturate the body with microelements and actively burn fat. Many nutritionists recommend drinking at least 4-5 cups of green tea a day. Tea has a mild diuretic effect and cleans blood vessels. It is advisable not to brew herbs with boiling water, but to insist in warm water – more nutrients will remain in them. All these dietary products will help you in your struggle for harmony and health. Of course, you should not completely give up meat, eggs, butter, if your plans do not include the transition to vegetarianism. It is best to take dietary meat that does not contain fat (veal, lamb, poultry), and cook it steamed or in foil (or a roasting sleeve). In addition to animal proteins, plant proteins must also be consumed. These are all types of legumes – beans, beans, soybeans, peas. Just remember about the calorie content: legumes “weigh” quite a lot.

Do not deprive food of vitamins, because during cooking they are almost completely destroyed. If you eat only cooked food, then your liver is constantly working in an enhanced mode, the body does not receive all the nutrients, allergic reactions and many other unpleasant things that few people associate with nutrition may occur. Therefore, eat fresh fruits and vegetables, sprinkle generously with herbs on your dishes, and if you do not tolerate greens, fool your receptors and make for yourself a green smoothie with bananas and kiwi or unsweetened curd mass with parsley or chervil. If we talk about cooking, then try to steam everything. It’s delicious, believe me! And leave the crispy crust for rare holidays – this will give you the opportunity to enjoy culinary delights even more fully. Another trick for those who want to lose weight – do not salt food during cooking, it is better to do it on your plate, trying to undersalt a little. At first it will be unusual, but when the arrow of your scales slowly but surely goes to the left, you yourself will not want to salt your food, as before, heartily.
This is not a complete list of dietary products, it goes on and on. But no matter how long this list turns out to be, it will never contain mayonnaise, ketchup, sausage and chips – all these products are harmful even for healthy people, not to mention those who are trying to regain lost health, beauty and harmony.
