Fire Jalapeno Crackers: A Healthy Peppercorn by Victoria Beckham
BThe former Spice Girls member regularly shares her routine with her followers. Favorite skin treatments, workouts that help you quickly get in shape before an important event, and simple recipes – a gorgeous “peppercorn” posts something on Instagram almost every day.
This time she told how to prepare a light snack that will energize and satisfy your hunger for a long time. Jalapeno crackers were invented by Beckham’s personal chef and friend of the Beckham family, Andrea Rodriguez. They are gluten free and are popular with both adults and children. Spicy to the taste, but not overly spicy. And most importantly, such cookies provide the body with healthy fats, potassium and vitamin E and do not harm the figure. On the contrary, beneficial substances accelerate metabolism.
You will need these products to replicate Victoria’s favorite snack.
- 7 jalapenos (remove seeds and white part, grate peppers)
- 2 green onions (finely chopped)
- 1 tablespoon coriander
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 6 tablespoons tapioca flour
- 6 tablespoons cassava flour
- 5 tablespoons of flaxseed
- 3 teaspoons sea salt
- 4 tablespoons pumpkin seeds
- 4 tablespoons sunflower seeds
- 2 tablespoons shelled hemp seeds
- 4-7 tablespoons of water at room temperature
In a bowl, mix all ingredients with the exception of water by hand. If the dough seems too thick, pour in a little. The mass should become pliable, but not stick to your hands.
Place it between two sheets of parchment and roll it out as thin as possible. Cut the back of the knife into squares. Put on a baking sheet, put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 160 and continue baking for another 15–20 minutes until a nice crisp finish.
Remove from oven and let cool slightly before cutting along marked lines. Enjoy!
