It would seem that the answer lies on the surface: the word “detox” means cleansing. But everything is not so simple. Every day, the body is attacked by hundreds of viruses and bacteria, and our immunity is not sweet. He needs to be constantly on alert in order to neutralize atypical cells and protect from “uninvited guests.” To keep the immune system from malfunctioning, monitor the condition of the intestines and gastrointestinal tract.

Detox is needed precisely in order to restart the digestive tract. It allows you to improve metabolic processes and the general condition of the body.

A healthy gut and beauty are interconnected. Improper nutrition can cause inflammation of the skin, increased secretion of the sebaceous glands, and the appearance of age-related changes. Typically, this reaction occurs after eating sweet and refined foods. In order to normalize the skin condition after such products, you need to give up such food for 10-14 days (including sweet fruits: persimmon, banana, figs). Regardless of the type and system of nutrition, always drink plenty of water and include foods rich in healthy fats in your diet: avocados, nuts, fish, vegetable oils (star detox recipes can be found here).

Any improvement of the intestinal microflora will have a beneficial effect on the appearance: reduce dryness, relieve inflammation, stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. Many studies note that when probiotics are used to create a nutrient medium in the gastrointestinal tract, the depth of wrinkles and acne are reduced, the vitality of the skin returns and toxins are eliminated.

There is a common stereotype that detox is 3-5-7 days on smoothies and water. This is not true. Such a nutritional system is more like torture and great stress for the body. A full detox is a minimum of 33 days of body restructuring. Why 33? This is how long it takes for the taste buds to completely renew themselves (other facts about detox can be found here).

Detox is necessary to improve metabolism, reboot the body, and increase vitality.

Fundamental rules:

– Give up fried. Acceptable heat treatment options: cooking, carcass, baking, grilling.
– Avoid coffee altogether by relying on herbal teas
– Cut back on animal protein
– Avoid foods containing gluten
– Eliminate milk and dairy products from the diet
– Drink plenty of clean water
– Eat liquid and puréed foods 2-3 times a day
– Place your bet on vegetables and fruits
– The calorie content of the diet should not be below normal
– Do a massage
– Smoothly get in and out of detox. The body needs 7-10 days to adapt.

Vegetable toning smoothie

½ avocado
1/2 part cucumber and celery to taste
Drinking water

Peel the avocado. Cut vegetables into cubes. Place in a blender bowl, pour in 100 ml water, puree, add celery and water.

Dessert fruit smoothie

Frozen strawberries – 100 g
Orange – 1 pc.

Peel the banana and orange. Cut into cubes. Place in a blender bowl with the strawberries. Add 100 ml of water. Purée.

Taboule salad

Quinoa – 100 g
Cucumber – 1 pc.
“Cherry” – 100 g
Bulgarian pepper – 1pc.
Greens
Lemon juice
Olive oil

Soak the quinoa in hot water for 30 minutes. Cook for about 15 minutes. Wash the vegetables and cut into cubes. Combine all ingredients. Add chopped herbs, olive oil and lemon juice. Done!

Chicken fillet with herbs

Chicken fillet – 500 g
Rosemary
Sage
Provencal herbs
Lemon juice
Olive oil
Sea salt

Marinate chicken fillet in lemon juice, herbs, salt. Leave it on for 30 minutes. Brush with olive oil. Send to the grill pan. Fry on both sides until golden brown. Place in a baking dish. Cook for 15 minutes at 200 degrees.
